The healing power of ART

My name is Brittany Elizabeth Binet, I am an English & Canadian abstract and contemporary painter, currently creating on the east coast of the United States.  For my paintings I up-cycle collected materials, and previously used house hold items to build on the canvas. I find re-purposing said items not only allows me to help our Earth in some small way, but the therapy in creating the art itself has helped me my entire life with facing my demons with mental health, substance abuse, and just recently dealing with the grief of the loss of my dear brother, William David Binet.  Like many creators,  I use this outlet to work through the dark parts of myself, in the hopes to create a healthier path.  
I have chosen to donate half of each creation sold to a cause of your choice, in these times we are all struggling in, it is important to give back to one another.  By purchasing a piece of art you love,  that love is then given to someone who could use a little extra right now.
